Other:
The Bridge FC was born in
the summer of 1999 by Roger Ingram and Mark Walker and was the
remains of struggling Worcester Sunday Division Four side Needle
Sports. Only four players were retained from the previous year so
the first season was largely new players coming together for the
first time. In October 1999 Roger left the club but this didn’t stop
them going on to win the Division Four title at the first attempt.
Since then the side has
changed names twice, due to sponsorship, and also been promoted
twice more to their current Division.
Many players and management
have come and gone but the side still contains six players and their
original manager from the title winning side.
